About NMSSG

The Nurse and Midwife Specialists Society of Ghana (NMSSG) is a group of practicing nurse and midwife Specialists in Ghana who are products of the Ghana College of Nurses and Midwives (GCNM).

The NMSSG exists to uphold high professional standards of specialists nursing and midwifery practices in Ghana, and functions to advance the welfare of its members. The NMSSG is an affiliate of the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA). All members are licensed professionals by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana (N&MC).

NMSSG has the vision to be the pinnacle of professional nursing and midwifery practice in Ghana and the world.

MISSION

Ensure continuous quality and safe nursing and midwifery practice in accordance with national and international standards

OBJECTIVES

Ensure optimum integration and contribution of the nurse/midwife specialist in healthcare practice and leadership.
Motivate and guide nursing/midwifery workforce towards achievement of highest professional standards and continuous education.
Establish a competitive and resourceful group of nursing and midwifery healthcare professionals to lead change at all levels of the healthcare system
